The Studio, High Wycombe

A contemporary new-build set in the heart of High Wycombe, The Studio occupies a unique site overlooking the Chilterns National Landscape. The building was designed around an existing swimming pool at the heart of the site which formed the basis on how the building carefully traced its relationship between water, landscape and architecture. Clad in black corrugated metal and sitting low against the horizon, it frames views across the valley while maintaining a calm and deliberate presence within the landscape.
